*Vertical applications tend to last longer than Horizontal applications. Due to extreme heat, hood applications have a reduced lifespan.
Some kits are also available in Avery 2 Mil Supreme Wrap vinyl with a 1.5 Mil clear laminate. It is an EZ Product so it is a dry install. Supreme Wrap offers a Two (2) Year hood warranty.
Warranty - Standard Vinyl Films
Technical specifications, recommendations and all other statements about vinyl films are based upon tests believed to be factual but do not constitute a guarantee or warranty. All films are sold with the understanding that the purchaser will use the vinyl films for the intended purposes in which they, (the films) were manufactured for following the given parameters of each product.
Should the vinyl films fail to execute correctly after specified proper use and application within one year of shipment date, the defective material will be replaced . An actual sample of any vinyl film in question will be required.
The liability for a defective product shall not exceed the original price paid by the purchaser. Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be responsible for any incidental or other damages outside of the manufacturer’s control of the vinyl films.
No additional warranties and implied warranties other than those stated above which are made expressly in lieu of all other warranties shall apply to any vinyl films sold by the manufacturer. The manufacturer specifically disclaims and excludes all other warranties.
Damages
"In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any consequential, special, punitive, or indirect loss or damage that the customer may incur or suffer in connection with the use or reuse of products purchased from the manufacturer or in any way arising out of a breach of these Terms and Conditions."
Warranty – Carbon Fiber Films (Manufactured by XPEL Technologies Corp.
XPEL Technologies Corp. warrants XPEL CARBON Film to be free of any manufacturing or workmanship defects for five (5) years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage to XPEL CARBON Film caused by erroneous application, accidents or collisions, intentional misuse or ordinary wear. XPEL will replace any film that does not meet this warranty. The replacement of damaged film is the exclusive remedy; liability does not extend to any other damages, incidental, consequential or otherwise.
